Each season has its own unique features and I love the capture the different moods of them all, either soft golden afternoon autumn light or stormy, cloudy winter days.
One of my “photo fetiches” is capturing dramatic and rugged coastlines, cliffs with life threatening waves relentlessly beating at their base, topped by a overcast sky anticipating a heavy storm about to hit you any time.

Luckily there’s plenty of places here in Portugal to try this, and some just miles away from my hometown, it’s just a mater of waiting for the right weather and the perfect opportunity. But this set wasn’t taken close from home, but on a short weekend trip to Alentejo for my first photo trip to one Europe’s greatest coastlines, nearby a sleepy village awaken once a year by a rock festival.
