Falling into Winter at Lisbon

4 Minutes Read

For the sake of keeping this blog fully functional an update was due for a long time, after all its main purpose it to keep track of my photographic activity. But the lack any major trips in the later half of this year has meant that my activity has been focused on in my hometown, and what has driven me in the last couple of months has been street photography, something not new in this blog.

Instead of picking up my tripod to shoot some landscapes, to make the best use of the great golden light of this time of the year, I ended up going to the streets, alleys and squares and watch Lisbon go into a kind of seasonal bipolar disorder: on one hand the joy and the anticipation of Christmas approaching, but on the other the other hand a kind of winter gloom that comes from leaving Summer behind…

My passion for photography is driven by my passion for travel, either in remote locations or discovering hidden places in my country or my hometown, to discover who lives there, and all photos reflect my perspective from those wanderings.

Find more about myself, read the blog posts with my updates, take a look at my selected galleries or browse my archive with all my photos.
