A pause from the Myanmar rush, because life goes on at home, and at home September and October are the months for harvesting the wine grapes. Vindimar is Portuguese for harvesting the wine grapes, usually a occasion to gather family and whoever shows up in something a little more active than Christmas dinner, that’s why I ended up shooting these photos when I wasn’t carrying large buckets full of wine grapes on my back.
Still photographing people, the truth is it’s kind of addicting, but for this one it’s away with the bright and vivid colors, enter the black and white of the vintage photos of rural Portugal that inspire me.
